How to Enter and Win Facebook Giveaways

More and more companies are hosting giveaways on Facebook, so why not try winning some prizes while you socialize and connect with your friends and family?

If you haven’t tried entering and winning Facebook giveaways, this guide will help you get started.

1. Open a Facebook account: If you don’t already have a Facebook account, open one. To enter giveaways on Facebook, you need to have an account. Fortunately, opening a Facebook account is easy and simple. When you create your account, be careful about exactly what information you make public. You want to ensure you don’t put up your phone number, address, or other personal details online.

2. Find Facebook giveaways that you can enter: Once you’ve set up your Facebook account, it’s time to find new giveaways to enter. Of course, you can do this organically by following different companies you like. Or you can find more giveaways by following giveaway and contest pages.

3. Look up the rules of the giveaway: Just like any other giveaway or contest, you should always read the rules of the giveaway before you submit your entry. If you have trouble locating the guidelines, look for a separate tab at the top of the company’s Facebook page that lists details and rules about their giveaways.

4. “Like” the business’ page on Facebook: If you like a giveaway, it’s a good idea to go ahead and like the company’s page as well. When you do this, you will see the company’s updates on your wall, which will make it so much easier for you to find more giveaways from the same sponsor.

5. Key in your personal details into the entry form: To submit your entry, you will need to access the entry form shared by the company and key in your details into it. You may also be asked to give the company the right to view your publicly displayed details.

6. Share the giveaway on Facebook: Many companies ask you to share the details about their giveaways on your Facebook wall. While you may be able to skip this step, it is best if you don’t.
