This is because the less time there is to join a certain giveaway, the fewer the entries the host will receive, which means your chances of winning are a lot higher. Similarly, if the host is only accepting entries from a certain city or state, it’s safe to assume they will receive fewer entries, which could work out well for you if you live in the city or state from which entries are accepted.
